I am a Freelance Videographer and Photographer specializing in travel, food, lifestyle, and event-based visual work. I take a creative approach—focusing on culture, craft, geography and locality—offering inspiring stories that celebrate our diversity and surprising interconnectedness.
I studied Cinema Production and International Relations at San Francisco State University, and spent a galvanizing summer living and documenting a Maasai homestead on the outskirts of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. I then began my professional development in the San Francisco Bay Area, working in administrative roles in the non-profit and private spheres. Most notably, I spent five influential years working at Chez Panisse Restaurant in Berkeley, CA where I continued to develop my eye and hone my skill with food and event photography through collaborative projects with Condé Nast and The Edible Schoolyard Project.
I am taking new clients and collaborators:
